Scan negative History : Vomiting regularly for the last month, also losing weight. Subjective: Meows, tries to walk away off the table (slowly), allows all handling Objective BCS 4/9, MMs pink, decreased skin turgor, estimated 5-8% dehydrated EENT: OU mydriasis, normal fundic exams. Ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Severe tartar PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, large irregular mass in central abdomen – possibly irregular kidney vs. neoplasia. U/G: Male neutered MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment Weight loss, dehydration, vomiting – R/O neoplasia vs. CKD vs. hyperthyroid vs. other Plan: 1. Set up in Medical for the night 2. Abd rads plus CBC/chemistry/T4 3. LRS 200 ml SQ SID x4 days Prognosis: Poor 1088
