***SAFE 03/02/16*** A staff member writes, “With his fierce name, Tiger may at first seem like he is as wild as his namesake, but he is in fact anything but fierce. I would rather rename him Tigger, after the bouncing, happy and cuddly childhood cartoon character! At seven years young Tiger has so much love left to give, and you couldn’t ask for a better personality. He is so curious about new things; and is just as happy going for a new adventure as he is snuggling up beside you for a cat nap. Tiger is very treat motivated, but is very gentle taking them from my hands. His gorgeous orange and white tabby coat lends credence to the fact that orange tabby’s are the best cats out there! Come meet Tiger and fall in love today!”……AVERAGE RATED * ALREADY NEUTERED……BRING TIGER HOME TO YOUR JUNGLE TONIGHT!! If you need assistance, email [email protected]

02/15/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
02/15/16 16:23 Basic information: Tiger is a 7 year old domestic short hair cat. He was adopted from MACC about 7 years ago. He was returned because the former owner got a puppy last week and the two animals where not given the proper opportunity to meet each other. Tiger has not been seen by a vet in about 7 years. Socialization: This cat is friendly with new people. Whenever his former owner had friends over he would rub against their legs until they showed him some attention. He loves to chase after stuffed toys. He is exuberant with adults and he knows to be a little more gentle when kids are around. Tiger is used to children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old. He is gentle most of the time. Behavior History: This cat has never bitten a person or another animal. He generally very well behaved and tolerant. Tiger is not happy to get a bath. He will cry and struggle until it is over. He does not hiss or swat. He does not seem to mind getting his nails trimmed. He will allow his owner to pick him up once he is comfortable with them. Tiger does not like going into a cat carrier. He will growl and struggle. For a New family to know: Tiger is described as a very friendly, loving and affectionate cat. His activity level is medium. Once he becomes comfortable with his new owner (that won’t take long) he will follow them around when they are home. Tiger loves to chase any kind of stuffed toy or ball. His former owner says that Tiger would probably do best in a home where he could be the only pet. He just loves attention and isn’t crazy about sharing with another pet. He has been kept indoors only. He loves to sleep in the same room as his owner. Tiger will use a hooded or uncovered litter box. He is used to dry food. Tiger is a great cat and he would be a great pet!
