TIA – A1065946
Safe - 2-29-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Mary's Kitty Korner Please honor your pledges: http://www.maryskittykorner.org/
***SAFE 02/29/16 *** TWO YEAR OLD TIA’S OWNER DIED – AND NOW THE ACC IS GOING TO MAKE SURE TIA DOES TOO! Poor TIA – her owner died and it seems there was no one in the circle of family or friends who wanted this young kitty. TIA is not sick – only nervous in the shelter and most likely sad and missing her “purrson” and home. Yet the ACC cuts no breaks for these situations – it’s right to the euth list for any excuse. TIA needs a rescue angel tonight to give her the safety of a home and some TLC and love. She will be just fine and maybe your new best friend! GIVE TIA A HAPPY ENDING TO HER STORY – CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HER TO SAFETY NOW!!

02/27/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Tia looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Tia remains hiding in the cat den alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Tia hisses at the assessor’s hand, but accepts the stroke while she stiffens up and hisses again. Placement determination: Experience / no child Tia tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
