THOMAS – A1064225
Gone - 2-6-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 02/06/16***GORGEOUS THOMAS has a cat model face and a sweet personality! Who could resist this cutie? THOMAS was brought into the shelter as a stray and this poor guy has had a tough life! He has a tail injury that may require amputation. He was treated at the shelter and is stable but will need to be followed up with vet care. Despite having an injury that surely doesn’t make him very happy, he’s an easygoing guy.. a bit scared but not aggressive at all. He’s 5 years old and would be great in an experienced pet home. He’s just hoping someone loving will scoop him up and give him the TLC he’s been missing in his life! THOMAS is a keeper and a survivor. Please don’t let his last day be tomorrow! Foster or adopt sweet THOMAS TODAY!!!

02/05/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Thomas and at the time he was weak but allows all handling and leans in for attention. Thomas has slow movements. He also slow blinks and purrs. Reaction to assessor: Thomas does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Thomas does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Thomas remains motionless Reaction to touch: Thomas seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Thomas is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Thomas was displaying timid behavior. He did not seek attention from the assessor. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
