Winnie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Winnie was at the front of the kennel meowing softly at the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Winnie is curious and reaches out with paws. Reaction to cage door opening: Winnie is alert and takes a step back. Reaction to touch: Winnie is hesitant at first and leans away when the assessor extends his hands out. She leans in for rubs, appreciates attention and allows petting all over. Her tail rises up and she lightly head butts the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Winnie was a bit tense but slowly relaxed in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Average Winnie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
