07/03/17 18:09 Ringo A1117377 is a young male brown tabby & white kitten who was found along with his siblings; Rita A1117378, Ryden A1117379, Rosie A1117380, Raylin A1117381 & Reina A1117382 in the basement of the finder’s building earlier this morning in the Bronx. They aren’t able/willing to keep the kittens but stated they felt bad for them as they were crying and appear ill. They stated the kittens allowed them to pick them up and place them into a purse to be brought into our BXAC location. During intake Ringo allowed all handling. He would cling on to your hand if you rest him there for a minute. Ringo allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. He does appear sick as he has some eye/nose discharge, was sneezing and didn’t have much of an appetite. Ringo was picked up/held and placed into a kennel atop linen with ease.

Hx: 6 kittens found in someone’s basement; not much interest in food; litter was noted to be sneezing S/O approx 5-6 weeks QAR, allows handling mm pk, tacky; deciduous dentitia no active nasal discharge but sneezing noted from litter OU-mild to mod conjunctivitis with mucoid discharge AU-mild waxy debris heart/lungs WNL soft, nonpainful abdomen diffuse mild, moth eaten alopecia on ears, along abdomen, forelimbs and paws-wood’s lamp positive flea debris with few live fleas female A ringworm URI with conjunctivitis fleas underage/underweight P LRS 25 ml SQ SID x 3 days force feed q6-8h until eating on their own doxycycline 0.2 ml PO SID x 10 days terramycin OU BID x 7 days itrafungol 0.5 ml PO SID , twice weekly lime sulfur dips x 3 weeks then recheck/run DTM culture prognosis: good temp s/n waiver due to ringworm/underage/URI
