Teddy is a 3 year old unaltered male DMH mix; he came to his home as a gift from a friend and was surrender due to the owner moving into an apartment that does not allow pets. He has no health issues or injures and has no recent vet history.
Around strangers Teddy is friendly and allows the indivdual to pet him. he has been around children of ages 3-13 year old and around the children he is playful and gentle. he has lived with one other Female older cat and mostly kept to himself he has no bite history.
Teddy likes to scratch on the bed stand that’s madeof wood. He enjoys the when people brush him and doesn;t mind being held or placed in the carrier. he was described as being friendly, and playful with a high activity level. Teddy was fed dry and wet food of the fancy feast brand twice a day. He is litter box trained and uses a hooded box with clay litter.
Upon intake Teddy was slightly timid and tried to flee but he allowed collaring and photo, but ran quickly into his carrier.
ENRICHMENT:
07/12/17
Lying in litterbox with a low body, ears forward and eyes alert. He leans his head in when I pet him and raises his butt and tail into the air as my hand passes along his back. Stands up with continued petting and comes forward, fluffy tail high in the air. Doing well!
