SAFE 2/19/17 A staff member writes: Teddy is a big orange boy with stunning green eyes who’s used to living in a home (with 14 other cats, no less!), and is a little wary about this whole “shelter” thing. He’s looking for an experienced feline owner who can coax him out of his shell and let him see what it’s like to be pampered and fawned over. Could it be you? Come meet Teddy in Brooklyn today!

Teddy is an orange tabby with white that is possible 1. Teddy was surrendered to ACC due to owner being evicted. Teddy has lived with 15 cats in the house. Teddy enjoys being around people and solicits attention.
During intake Teddy was a bit nervous but when approached slowly he allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.
ENRICHMENT:
02/04/17
Crouched at the back of the kennel, wary of surroundings. Eyes focused on all movements. Wasn’t able to coax forward with treats. Tense, slowly shifts away when the door opens. Lip licks when touched, shifts weight and leans back. Starts slow blinking. A little nervous but allows petting with a slow approach. Sprayed feliway
02/06/17
Large cat stuck in a small single cage, will move him later today to a double. Nervous and unsure, sticks to the back of his cage, okay with head rubs and some gentle body passes. Hesitant to come forward yet. Likes tuna, started playing with a catnip-and-silvervine-infused plush toy I offered. Nice cat, from a tough situation, has potential to warm up here and be a fine adoptions cat.
