He is now 6 years old and even though he is good with kids, these owners have decided to kick him out over a new baby! TEDDY is AVERAGE rated and was said to be affectionate once he gets to know you. This boy was handed a royal betrayal and now that he caught the shelter germs, the ACC plans on killing him at noon. TEDDY is a calm and relaxed kitty and would love to come be your new best friend. 08/05/16 19:30 Teddy is a 6 year old male Brown and white DSH. He was purchased from a Pet Store and has been in owners care since. He is being surrendered into the center due to a new baby in the home. There are no known health injuries or concerns. Around strangers he is shy for a few minutes and is usually tolerant around children. With both children and adults he is gentle. Behavior is unknown with other cat or dogs. There is no known history of him biting another animal or person. Often he will hide in fear and during car rides with cry. There is no known history of him having litter box accidents. He struggles when getting a bath and has never had is nails trimmed. He isn’t bothered when his coat his brushed, picked up and held and placed in a carrier. Teddy is described as being friendly, affectionate, shy and mellow with a medium activity level. He is very affectionate when he is settled in, and is afraid of loud noises. When home he will follow you around or be in the same room. Mostly kept indoors she slept anywhere comfortable. He ate both wet and dry food. He is litter box trained using a hooded box with clumping litter. He doesn’t scratch on furniture but on a scratching post made of rope.

Behavior Determination: Average Teddy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting . Teddy is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
