Tasha was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.
Reaction to assessor: Tasha was lying on her blanket and meows softly.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Tasha reaches out with paws seeking attention.
Reaction to cage door opening: Tasha rises up quickly and chirps.
Reaction to touch: Tasha is calm, relaxed and tries to walk out the kennel when the door opens. She allows petting all over, rubs up for attention and gives light head butts.
Reaction to being picked up: Tasha is tense and struggles to be put down when held.
Behavior Determination: Average
Tasha interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
