SYLVESTER – A1077503
Safe - 7-2-2016 Brooklyn
**SAFE 07/02/16** SYLVESTER and PATRICK are handsome fellows who were brought to the ACC by someone who had been hoarding animals. They lived with other cats, a dog, kiddos, and some adults, so SYLVESTER definitely had the background to ace that behavioral evaluation with a nice AVERAGE rating. He is only thought to be about 12 months of age and should make a perfect best friend for some lucky person or family. Please advocate ferociously for darling SYLVESTER, tonight!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
As per previous owner, Sylvester has lived with 4 adults and 2 children. He has lived with a lot of cats and got along with all of them. He loves to play and likes using her scratching post. Reaction to assessor: Sylvester was eating food near the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Sylvester makes eye contact but doesn’t come forward. He lip licks and is wary of his surroundings. Reaction to cage door opening: Sylvester remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Sylvester seems hesitant of contact but relaxes when pet along his body. As he becomes more comfortable he lightly rubs up against the assessor’s hand and gives head butts. Reaction to being picked up: Sylvester is a bit tense when held and is wary of his surroundings. When placed down he comes back to the front and leans forward for more attention. Behavior Determination: Average Sylvester interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
