06/17/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Style was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Style was calm, relaxed and lying on her back. Reaction when softly spoken to: Style makes eye contact, meows softly and slowly inches towards the front of the kennel. Reaction to cage door opening: Style becomes alert with wide eyes. Reaction to touch: Style meows softly and seems hesitant of contact. She tolerates petting briefly then backs away slowly. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Style tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
