STYLE – A1074276
Safe - 5-26-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 05/26/16*** STYLE has plenty of style, but she also has a NEW HOPE rating and a date with death, tomorrow. Why? Because this pretty, 4-year-old girl is at the ACC, and once a cat is within those walls they can only leave under a very narrow set of circumstances. The only way STYLES gets out of there alive, is with the help of a NEW HOPE rescue group tonight! Rescues need foster/adoptive placements in order to save lives, so PLEASE step up and be STYLES’ hero, tonight!

05/22/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Style was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Style was curled up tight at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Style slow blinks, makes eye contact then slowly turns her head towards the wall. Reaction to cage door opening: Style remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Style’s ears bend flat then she lip licks as I get close. When near she hisses then swats and allows no contact. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Style is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat and is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
