STACEY – A1073482
Safe - 5-29-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 05/29/16*** TRAPPED! How come the guy who trapped STACEY and brought her to the ACC to potentially be killed, didn’t think it was worth his effort to trap her and get her spayed? That way, he could have enjoyed the benefit of her beauty and anti-rodent services, rather than allowing her to pump out 3 litters a year in his yard…which is probably what he didn’t care for. Now STACEY has lovely volunteer comments and a date with death, tomorrow. Please read her rave review, and then find a FOSTER/ADOPTER to step up for STACEY, tonight! “A volunteer writes: If Stacey was a high school senior, she’d be voted the most popular girl in class. This spirited tabby with the glass-half-full personality is super friendly and affectionate, always ready to make friends and sit for petting sessions (she especially loves being petted on her body, our staff noted). Found in a yard before being brought to the Care Center, her comfort level with humans indicates that she was likely until very recently a house cat. She scored high on her behavior exam and was deemed to be a great fit for almost any type of home. Come meet the homecoming queen of the cat adoption room today! Another volunteer writes: Stacey is the sweetest of the sweet. She is gentle and calm. She responds to talking softly. She also responds to softly singing. She will solicit pets. She loves her chin rubbed. She will sit for that as long as you want to. She likes her body gently stroked. She is so relaxed, that she loved petting even when she was eating. Stacey is at the Manhattan care center waiting for you. Come meet your new best friend.”

05/12/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/12/16 16:40 Stacey A1073482 was found in the finders backyard in the Bronx. She has been in his yard for the past couple of years and had about three litters in the past year. He said that it has been nearly impossible to trap her. He finally was able to lure her into a carrier. Behavior during intake Stacey allowed to be taken out of the carrier and placed into a kennel. She was fearful at first and tried to flee but after some soft talk and petting she relaxed and allowed handling. She likes to be pet on her body and meows when I approach the kennel door. She stays in the front of the kennel and solicits attention. She was scanned(-),collared and photographed.
