SAFE 1/3/18 Squeezer is a spayed 9 year old black DMH. Squeezer is being surrendered along with her housemate Princess because of Family health issues.

Basic Information:
Squeezer is a spayed 9 year old black DMH. Squeezer is being surrendered along with her housemate Princess because of Family health issues.
How is this cat around strangers?
Around strangers Squeezer is shy for a few hours.
How is this cat around children?
Squeezer has lived with children ages ranging from 9 and up. Squeezer is relaxed and affectionate with the children. Squeezer plays gently with both children and adults.
How is this cat around other cats?
Squeezer has lived with another cat and is affectionate with the cat. Squeezer also plays gently with the other cat.
How is this cat around dogs?
Squeezer has lived with dogs but does not like dogs. Squeezer will keep away from the dogs.
Behavior Notes
IN car rides Squeezer will meow a little. Squeezer has not been given a bath or had her nails trimmed by previous owner. Squeezer is use to getting brushed and having her hair trimmed. Squeezer isnt bothered when being picked up and held. Squeezer has not been placed in a carrier.

Squeezer does not have a bite history.

No
For a New Family to Know
Squeezer was described as affectionate and mellow. Squeezer enjoys playing with feathers and balls. when home with Squeezer she likes to be off in a favorite spot. Squeezer eats Purina dry food and usually has the bowl left out for her. Squeezer is litter box trained and uses and uses a hooded letterbox with fresh step litter. Squeezer Does not use scratching post and doesn’t scratch on anything in the house. When its time for bed Squeezer likes to sleep on the beds with the children.

Behavior Notes:

During intake Squeezer was quiet. Squeezer allowed to be scanned and collared with a loose body. She enjoyed being pet and allowed all handling.

Subjective: BARH
Observed Behavior – Calm for exam, allowed all handling
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – no

Objective
P = WNL R = WNL BCS 5/9
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: Mild dental tartar/gingivitis, pink/pigmented mm
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: spayed
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

Assessment: Mild dental disease

Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Prognosis: Good
