***SAFE 06/27/17***GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING! A volunteer writes: This soulful tiger tabby is so friendly and outgoing that she walks right up to strangers and asks for petting. In her former home, she lived with a 4-year-old with whom she was relaxed, respectful, and tolerant. She was a gentle playmate with adults and children, and with her two female feline companions. Her former owner described her as affectionate, assertive and quiet, with a medium activity level, and she would follow her owner around the home. She enjoyed three scratching posts made out of carpet, cardboard, and wood with bark. In our care, Sparkle has appreciated attention and petting, although we can tell that she is perplexed by her new surroundings. This is typical of cats who find themselves in new environments. They need time to get used to a new place. But just take another peek at this girl’s headshot and you will see how hard she is to resist. Another volunteer writes: Things Sparkle likes: making new human friends, curling up on window sills, hanging out with other cat BFFs (she lived with two felines in her previous home and was relaxed and tolerant of them), both wet and dry food, following her people around the house, and sleeping in the car when she goes for a ride. Things Sparkle doesn’t like: not having a forever family of her own to cherish and love her. This lovely gem of a cat was described by her former owners as friendly, assertive, and quiet. Care Center staffers found her to be so well behaved, she’d be great in just about any kind of household.
