07/12/16 14:15 Soren A1080932 is a chunky handsome male gray & white DSH who was trapped in the finder’s basement earlier this morning in the Bronx. According to the finder Soren has been scaring the residents and their pets whenever they go into the basement/basement area. Soren was brought in a trap. Once he noticed an opening between the trap and the cat den he made a dash for it and managed to elude capture for a few minutes but was then caught with a freeman net. Due to his behavior his picture was taken in the den and we were unable to collar him.

Reaction to assessor: Soren looks tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Soren remains in place, body tightly curled up, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Soren began to low meow, stiffens up during the touch and lip lick in place while he remains wary with his surroundings. Placement determination: Experience Soren tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
