Hello, my name is Sophie. My animal id is #10863. I am a desexed female black cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years 1 weeks old. – P
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 26-Oct-2017, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- moving – no pets allowed.
Sophie is at risk due to being diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection which is contagious to other cats. She will likely require in home care with a course of antibiotics. Behaviorally, she tolerates petting but appeared tense in the shelter. We recommend she go to an experienced cat family that will allow her ample time to warm up to them.
