Smokey lived with a 3 year old in the home. He approached and rubbed for attention. He would play with wand toys as the child played with him. He gently played and seek for attention.

Smokey has never lived with children. Behavior unknown around children.

Smokey has been around a medium dog that they sometimes lounge around together and sun bathed. He also would play chase with them.
Behavior Notes
Smokey allowed to be bathed, quickly, he was a bit nervous but stood still. He allows to have his nails trimmed. He enjoys his coat brushed. He always uses his hooded litter box. Sometimes he scratches the sofa but has access to a scratching post.

Smokey is described as friendly and relaxed. He likes to cuddle next to the owner and look out the window for hours. He enjoys a diet of meow mix dry or wet. He also likes to perch up in his cat tree.
Behavior Notes:
During intake Smokey was relaxed. He meowed when walking out the carrier but he enjoyed being pet. He allowed to be picked up, collard, scanned and photographed.

At front of kennel, body relaxed and ears forward. Makes eye contact. He allows all petting while leaning in and purring, tail raised high in the air. Social and affectionate – doing great!
