Simsbury was brought in as a stray. The finder found in an abandoned apartment, the finder placed Simsbury in a cat carrier and brought her to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake.

During intake Simsbury was very relaxed with soft body. Simsbury would head butt the extended hand of the handler and would rub and purr when handled. Simsbury allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured, and placed in a cat kennel
