SAFE 4/29/18 SIERRA was brought in with 2 other cats when owner was not able to care for them any longer. She is already spayed but very upset at being in the shelter and needs a home asap.

Subjective / Observed Behavior – BAR. did not allow handling without sedation. Hissing, swatting and backing into corner when kennel approached. Swatted with nails out when approached with assessment hand.

ABD: no masses palpated
U/G: spayed female. tattoo present.
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted; focal abrasion along RTL, dorsal to digit #1. Nailbed trauma to RPL digit #4; nail intact
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: grossly normal.
