SAFE 7/9/17 SWEETEST PURRING MACHINE KITTY SHY! Must have Placement by 6pm!!! *BLOCKED CAT* Shy was brought to us because his owner is ill and unable to take care of animals. We found Shy in his cage this morning purring and laying in his bed and found out he was blocked. He is NOT blocked now and a urinary catheter was put placed. WE DO NOT HAVE A VETERINARIAN HERE OVER THE WEEKEND. He must be placed by 6pm

Basic Information: Shy is a 4 year old Male black and white DSH. His owner received Shy as a gift from a neighbor, and needs to surrender because she is moving to a place that does not allow animals. Shy does not have any known health issues or injuries, and has not seen a vet recently.
Socialization: shy is friendly around strangers and has lived with children ages 6 and 3. He is respectful, affectionate and plays with the children, and plays gentle with adults and children. Shy has lived with another cat who was his sibling; he was relaxed, affectionate with his sister. He has no bite history.
Behavior: Shy is housed trained, will whine and cry during bath time. He enjoys having his coat brushed, being picked up and held. Shy becomes afraid when being placed inside the carrier; he will put up a struggled. Shy isn’t bothered when being disturb while sleeping.
For New Family to Know: Shy’s family describes him as affection, playful and mellow. He has a medium activity level, enjoys following you around the home. He is mostly kept indoors, eats dry foods twice a day. Shy uses an uncovered litter box and does not have a scratching post.
