***SAFE 09/28/16*** WILLOW AND SHNOOKUMS ARE A PAIR OF SUPER SWEET CATS WHO ARE GOOD WITH KIDS OF ALL AGES AND DOGS! But these 2 wonderful cats will both be killed at noon for a COMMON COLD which is treatable with a good round of antibiotics! WILLOW and SHNOOKUMS were dumped by their owner when he moved away. They lived with children from age 2 to teens – not to mention they tolerated chilhuahuas too! These cats are both friendly, gentle, playful and have purrfect house manners. What more could you want of a kitty! WILLOW is BEGINNER rated and SHNOOKUMS is AVERAGE and both of these cats would LOVE to be adopted together if possible. 09/17/16 12:24 Basic Information Shnookums is a 4 year old female domestic short hair who is being surrendered because owner is moving to Florida and cannot take. Owner found Shnookums as a stray when she was a little kitten. Owner stated Shnookums has no medical issues but has never taken her to a vet. Socialization Shnookums is friendly around strangers. She lived with kids all her life. She was playful, relaxed, and tolerant of the kids. She plays in a gentle manner with kids and adults. She lived with 12 other cats’ ages 2 through 13 years. They respected each other but would sometimes get into rough play. She lived with two Chihuahuas. She was respectful and tolerant of the Chihuahuas. She has never bitten a person and may have scratched one of the cats he lives with. Behavior Owner stated Shnookums has no behavior issues and was relaxed on the car ride here. Owner has never bathed or trimmed Shnookums nails. Shnookums is not bothered when placed in a carrier, if held, or if disturbed while sleeping. Owner stated he does not brush his cats. For a New Family to Know Shnookums is described as friendly, playful, and confident, with a high activity level. When home Shnookums just likes to do her thing around the house. She likes to play with balls and mouse style toys. She was kept indoors and slept anywhere. Owner fed her Meow Mix dry cat food. He would fill a few bowls once a day. She uses an uncovered cat litter box with crystal style litter in it. She would scratch on furniture made out of fabric. Behavior during Intake Shnookums tolerated handling during intake. She purred and arched her back when I petted her. No signs of aggression were displayed during the intake procedure.

Reaction to touch: Shnookums solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hands and purring. Reaction to being picked up: Shnookums jumps calmly back into the cage. Behavior Determination: Average Shnookums interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems.
