She was able to handle her without any issues. She tolerated being picked up and placed in a box. She did not display any kind of aggression towards finder. Behavior during Intake Shaylie tolerated all handling during intake. She arched her back and purred when I petted her. No signs of aggression were displayed during intake

Reaction to door opening: Shaylie remains in place standing at the front of the cage, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Shaylie leans into the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Shaylie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
