SHARMELLO – 35263
Safe - 8-9-2018 Manhattan
SAFE 8/9/18 SHARMELLO is an 8 yr old boy whose owner brought to the shelter stating his child has allergies. Sharmello lived with his owner since a kitten and was playful with the children. He is a friendly, affectionate cat who is in need of a furever home this time. A volunteer writes: I think Sharmello holds the secret to world peace, because this handsome tuxie apparently gets along with everyone. He comes to us from a household where he interacted with an adult, kids, and a small dog, and he was respectful and friendly with them all. He impressed our medical team when he first arrived by allowing them to handle him with ease, and during his behavior test he sniffed, head-butted, leaned in for pettings, and even purred. He’s mellow, quiet, and playful, and sometimes shy and even a bit tense, so a new pet parent who will give him time to adjust will be the one who wins his heart. When I met Sharmello the other night, he came down from his cat loft to greet me with softness and warmth, then hung out with me, enjoying being close to a human. Come meet this sweet ambassador today!
