08/13/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/13/17 10:19 Basic Info: Shadow A1120437 is a neutered male brown tabby & white DSH who was given to the owner from a neighbor 3yrs ago and is being surrendered due to the owner being ill. He was last seen by a vet 1yr ago currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Shadow is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He hasn’t been around dogs but was gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with the adults in the home and grandchildren ages 6, 8 & 9yrs old that would visit. As a kitten Shadow lived with an older cat and they also got along well. Shadow hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During car rides Shadow will meow or be relaxed. He isn’t bothered by the following: being brushed, bathed, having his nails trimmed at the vets or being put into a carrier. Shadow hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting and enjoys being pet/held and scratched behind the ears. For a New Family to Know: Shadow is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, exuberant but mellow at times & quiet with medium activity level. When the owner is home Shadow follows them around. He’s an indoor cat that sleeps on his cat bed, eats dry & canned Friskies cat food 2-3x a day, uses a hooded litter box with clumping litter within, likes to climb up onto chairs, tables (sometimes) and counters (sometimes), loves toys; balls, mouse, lazers, string/wand toys and uses a carpeted/rope scratching post/cat tower. Intake Behavior: Shadow had a soft body, eyes and allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have his pictures taken however due to him attempting to run/jump off the back drop table several times and or head butting his pictures had to be taken in his kennel. Shadow didn’t seem to mind being picked up at all and was placed into a kennel with ease.
