**GONE 01/11/16** SELENIA AND SERENITY ARE TWO LADIES THAT CAME FROM A HOUSE OF 14 CATS….One of their housemates, GARFIELD, has already been killed and we are hoping for much better for these ladies. SERENITY is a bit more easy going, has an AVERAGE rating and is already SPAYED. SELENIA, while OK with the other cats, didn’t really interact with them and might not mind being a solo girl. SELENIA is not yet SPAYED according to ACC notes. PLEASE HELP THESE TWO LADIES GET THE CHANCE THEY NEED TONIGHT!! 12/28/15 Basic Info Selenia A1061670 is a 4 yr old female Tortie DSH who was surrendered along withGarfield A1061668 and Serenity A1061671 due to there being too many cats in the home and three new children being introduced to the home. Garfield was born in the home. Socialization Selenia is described as being shy toward new people who enter the home. She mostly avoided people and stood to herself in the home.Selenia lived with 14 other cats in which she seem unbothered by the other cats. She didnt seek attention nor did she play with any of them. Behavior Selenia isn’t too fond of baths as she will struggle a bit.Selenia does allow for other grooming as nail trimmings and coat brushing. Selenia doesn’t mind being placed in carriers for transport nor does she mind being carried. For a new Family to Know Selenia is shy with a medium activity level who will usually keep to herself but will follow you around the home when she’s hungry and expecting food. She prefers to play with any toy that has strings. Selenia eats dry food (purina). Selenia is litter trained and never had any accidents. During Intake Selenia had a tense body with ears pushed back but allowed handling. She was scanned (-), collared and photographed. She allowed to be pet and scratched behind her ears. She was carried and placed right into the kennel.

Reaction to assessor: Selenia looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Selenia remains sitting upright on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Selenia accepts the stroke, but shows no interest to the touch and remains immobile in place. Placement determination: Experience Selenia tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
