Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Scarlett was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Her finder reports they were able to pick her up while she was eating on the street. She was sweet upon intake and allows all handling, coming to the front to solicit attention and head-butts whenever there is a hand near her. She was very vocal during her initial medical exam, but was friendly and allowed all handling. Reaction to assessor: Scarlett meows and comes to the front when approached. Reaction when softly spoken to: Scarlett solicits attention and rubs against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Scarlett remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Scarlett head-butts, leans in for petting, and begins to purr. She is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Scarlett remains calm during pick up and continues to purr when held.
