Samba is a 3 year old male Orange and white DSH mix; he came to his family as a gift and is being surrender due to the owner’s moving into an apartment complex that does not allow pets. He has no known health issues or injures, and has not recent vet history.
Around strangers Samba is friendly and rubs up on them. Around children he is respectful and mostly keeps to himself. He has never been around other animals and has no bite history.
Samba will try to escape if an individual tries to bath him and will struggle out of hold during a nail trim. He loves to be held and isn’t bothered when he is placed in the carrier. Samba was described as friendly, affectionate and playful by his previous owner with a high activity level. He loves to play with chasing toys and is feed dry food only. He is litter boxed trained and uses an uncovered litter-box with clumping litter.
Upon intake Samba was friendly and allowed the counselor to hold him and pet him with no issue. He was scanned collared and place into the carrier with no struggle.
