Safe - 6-4-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Zani's Please honor your pledges: http://zanisfurryfriends.org/
***SAFE 06/04/16*** SWEET, SPAYED SAMARA WAS OUT ON THE STREET!!..Her finder kept her for a whole 3 days before bringing her to the shelter. SAMARA is understandably wary at the shelter. She also has an abdominal mass that appears fluid filled and needs further investigation by a competent vet not guessing by the ACC….SAMARA will need a little TLC and Time to come around and have her chance to blossom. We don’t know what her sad back story is but we want her to have a happy new future story!! MAKE THAT POSSIBLE FOR HER BY APPLYING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT NOW!! If you need assistance, [email protected]

05/20/16 10:35HRS Samara is described as quiet and shy. She was cared for by her finder for three days. Samara interacted with adults during that time. Samara would allow minimal petting but would run and hide if picked up. She also stayed in the home with a shih tzu. She would play fight with dog but wouldn’t scratch him. She appears to be declawed in the front. Samara would use news paper to relieve herself. Her finder noted that she would use it primarily but would sometimes urinate in the corner of the living room. She would spend most of the day hiding in enclosed dark spaces. She would come out from hiding when she was hungry. She was fed Deli Cat dry cat food but may not like it because she would vomit after eating it.
