A volunteer writes: Sam is another of the big orange tabby cats that I met today in the shelter. He also has a white face and paws, which he keeps immaculately washed, so he is a very nice-looking boy. While you’re talking to him, he kneads his blanket in anticipation of the petting he’s hoping you’ll give him. And when that starts, he keeps kneading but adds some purring. Sam is an affectionate kitty who’s looking for a human companion who will appreciate his good looks and warm ways.
