Lying in front of kennel, body relaxed and ears forward. Makes eye contact with soft eyes and vocalizes when spoken to. She steps forward to greet me as I open the kennel door and allows petting along her head and body while leaning in, tail raising high in the air. Doing well after first day! Tenses up if touched around her wounds.

Sam continues to vocalize and rubs up against the kennel door.

Sam sniffs the assessor’s hand, purrs softly and arches her body when pet. Her tail sways with every soft stroke along her body, but she remains calm and continues to solicit attention.
