Sakura is a 3 year old, unaltered, gray tabby, Domestic short hair female cat. Sakura previous owner adopted her from a family member when she was a kitten 3 years ago.

Sakura only cries when she wants food, enjoys scratching the walls, car rides, brushing coat, being picked up/held, and being put in a carrier. The previous owner did not clipped Sakura nails or bathed her with water. She was bathed with powered.

While an owner is home Sakura will follow you around the home. She is a indoor cat and doesn’t like playing with toys. Sakura is litter box trained with a uncovered box and clumping litter. She is use to eating 3 times a day 1 can of wet food in the morning and night. Then half a cup of dry food for lunch. Her favorite brand of treats is Purina. Sakura does enjoy scratching walls and her vertical, carpet, cat post. Sakura enjoys sleeping her own bed. A normal day for Sakura is eating and hang out by herself.

During intake Sakura had as stiff body, dilated eyes, while collaring and photographing. She did struggled while being handled.

Curled up in the back of the kennel. Low body posture, eyes become focused on all movements. Sniffs hand, closes eyes when pet along body. Lip licks, and seems a bit wary of her surroundings. Kept interaction short.

History : Owner surrender 7/28-alopecia Wood’s Lamp negative. DTM collected. Came in and housed with 2 other cats.
Subjective: BAR. No csvd.
Objective :
EENT: Eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge
HL: No sneezing or coughing, eupneic, normal RR/RE
NEURO: A&A
MS: Ambulatory x4

Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
DTM checked-positive for color change and white colonies consistent with ringworm. Unable to check microscopically due to supplies
All 3 cats moved to holding room and sign placed
The daily dosage is 5 mg/kg (0.5 mL/kg) body weight administered once daily on alternating weeks for 3 treatment cycles. Cats are treated during weeks 1, 3, and 5, and left untreated during weeks 2 and 4.
Started on 5mg/kg PO SID for week 1 and recheck added for last day.
Scheduled lime dip for tomorrow and Wednesday.
