Is this cat having litter box issues?NoBasic Information:Rufio is a 14 year old altered male brown tabby and white DSH cat mix. He Came into the home 12 year ago and was surrendered due to the owner having cancer and allergies.
How is this cat around strangers?Around strangers Rufio is shy and takes a couple of days to adjust to new people.

Behavior NotesRufio likes to be held and likes to climb onto his owner shoulder. Rufio does struggle to go into the carrier

For a New Family to KnowRufio is friendly, affectionate, and mellow and loves to climb. Rufio is litter box trained bu has been uses the bath room outside of the litter box for a few months. He has a uncovered box with clumping litter.
Behavior Notes:Upon intake Rufio was timid and very vocal when the counselor tried to pick him up. He allowed the counselor to collar him.

ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated

MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
