EENT: Eyes crusted almost shut, moderate mucoid discharge when eyelids opened. Moderate mucoid nasal discharge.
Oral Exam: All deciduous teeth erupted
PLN: No significant enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Soft, non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Male intact kitten
MSI: Erythematous inguinal region. Flea dirt. Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Normal externally
Assessment: URI and conjunctivitis in underweight kitten
Plan:
1. Doxycycline 0.1 ml PO SID x10 days
2. Erythromycin OU BID x10 days
3. LRS 10 ml SQ SID x3 days
Prognosis: Fair
