***SAFE 03/23/16*** ROSS is FIV positive and his left paw is swollen and bruised. So it’s no wonder that he will not allow handling! 3 year old ROSS can live a long life with FIV, he can also live along side non-FIV cats as well! So don’t use that as an excuse to pass this cutie by! He needs an experienced home with no children and he needs it now! Let ROSS be the BOSS and don’t make him pay the COST with his life…FOSTER or ADOPT him today!

03/22/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Ross does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Ross does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Ross eyes become wide and he leans away from the opening Reaction to touch: Ross allows limited petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Ross was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
