**SAFE 07/28/16** THREE CATS, ONE STORY, ONE AWFUL FATE….unless YOU take action to stop it! Meet ROONEY, PITA and KELLY, three gorgeous strays who were brought into the ACC on July 20th. They have only been at the shelter for a few days and already, the ACC has decided they are OUT OF IDEAS regarding how to find this crew some new homes. Please read their shelter notes carefully and individually, because these cats have different ratings and slightly different stories. Bottom line, though; KELLY is NEW HOPE rated, ROONEY and PITA are EXPNOCHILD rated, and ALL WILL DIE unless someone steps up for them tonight!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Rooney looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Rooney remains in place, stiff body, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Rooney avoid contact, but when touched he shows no interest then attempts to escape. Placement determination: Experience / no child Rooney tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
