09/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Roda came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home, or to her previous situation. She was timid at intake, trying to flee, and did the same during her initial medical examination. She seems to have warmed up with a few days in the care center, though, and allowed the assessor to touch and pet her without issue. Reaction to assessor: Roda is at the back of her cage, resting. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains in place. Reaction to touch: Roda allows all petting, and stretches her neck for chin scratches. Placement determination: Average Roda interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
