***SAFE 10/29/16*** EIGHT IS ENOUGH: HOUSEHOLD OF FELINE FRIENDS BETRAYED BY THEIR OWNER–NEED YOU! Sad sigh! LOMO, CHOP SUEY, WONTON,
SESAME, SOY, LYCHEE, RED BEAN and RICE sound like mighty tasty treats! They are a sad bunch of young, a combo of tabbies, greys along with one black and white cutie–mostly very sweet and gentle cats in dire need of fairytale endings to their very sad “tails.” They were dumped by their former owner due to “too many pets.” So it’s no wonder they look so incredibly sad. Lomo, the tabby is four–gentle and tolerant of handling, Red Bean–another tabby–three and NH only due to fear, grey two year old tabby Lychee–gentle but needs an experienced home without kids, Soy–a two year old very calm and gentle black and white sweetie, Sesame–a two year old grey fella–very scared-NH only, Rice–another grey boy who’s tolerant of petting and handling but needs to go to a quiet home without kids, Wonton–a two year old gentle tabby who’s very sweet and easy to handle and Chop Suey a 3 yo NH only scared boy. We think that these poor pets may have been exposed to ringworm or tested positive for the very treatable condition. It’s such a shame they were all dumped like yesterday’s news at the shelter. Please open up your heart to one or two of this household of feline friends. They all definitely know what it’s like to have a home and each other. Please give them a chance and a new “leash” on life. Rice came to the shelter surrendered by an owner with a limited profile. Upon intake, Rice was tense and nervous. Reaction to assessor: Rice is sitting in the back of his cage, tense and nervous. Reaction when softly spoken to: Rice remains stiff, motionless. Reaction to cage door opening: Rice looks at assessor with ears flat, eyes wide. Reaction to touch: Rice becomes tense, hisses, allows minimal petting. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Rice does not approach the assessor, appears tense and nervous, and is tolerant of minimal handling. Rice is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents with no children.
