Subjective: active, cool to touch
Objective
BCS: 3/9
EENT: Eyes and ears closed, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: no teeth present. strong suckle response
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: MI
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: grossly normal
Assessment: 1 wk FI DSH
1. apparently healthy
2. cool to touch
Prognosis: good with care
Plan:
1. placed on heat support (warming blanket)
2. gave KMR and each kitten suckled appropriately
3. will send to medical for care until foster placement
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to age
