EENT: Eyes clear, ears – brown waxy debris plus areas of alopecia around dorsal aspect of pinna likely secondary to scratching no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Deciduous teeth present
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Intact, Vulva UR
MSI: Generalized alopecia of dorsal hind/lichenification/mild dermatitis suspect due to overgrooming R/O flea allergy vs dermatitis vs atopy vs demodex vs sarcoptes
Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal:
WOODS LAMP NEGATIVE
Assessment:
Mild Otitis Externa
Generalized alopecia of dorsal hind/lichenification/mild dermatitis suspect due to overgrooming R/O flea allergy vs dermatitis vs atopy vs demodex vs sarcoptes
Prognosis: Good
Plan:
Skin scraping taken from affected area were taken
Gave 0.1 ml Convenia
Apply tresaderm in both ears BID for 7 days
Give all intake treatments
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to hind-end dermatitis – Recheck in one week on 15th April for improvement and to reassess surgery status
