11/22/16 16:26 FInder did not have any interaction with animal as it was in a trap. Behavior during intake: Animal was running around the trap trying to escape. I was able to transfer into a den without any issues. In the den, animal kept lip licking and giving me whale eye. When I put my hand out, animal backed away then tried to flee therefore I was unable to collar.

Ravioli came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Ravioli was nervous and attempted to flee. Reaction to assessor: Ravioli is lying mid-cage, neutral. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ravioli looks at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Ravioli remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Ravioli shifts back to avoid petting, uncomfortable but tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Ravioli does not approach the assessor, and is not fractious, but avoids petting and handling. Ravioli is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents with no children who can allow her appropriate adjustment time to a new home environment.
