PE:WNL Exam & surgery performed by Dr. 1379 Feline neuter Anesthesia – 0.06mL dexdomitor, 0.03mL butorphanol, 0.3 mL ketamine induction. Sx. – Routine scrotal castration. No sutures placed, incisions left open to drain. Green linear tattoo placed on ventral abdomen. 0.4mL Simbadol injectable and 0.3 mL Onsior for pain management.

Scanned neg on intake History : No hx available Subjective: Quiet in kennel, lying down Observed Behavior – No active interest in me but allows all handling Objective BAR-H, MMs pink and moist, BCS 4/9 EENT: Mild epiphora. Wet nose. No discharge AU. Oral Exam: Clean adult teeth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: Grade 4/6 systolic heart murmur – audible on all sides of the chest. Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Male, neutered recently – scrotum soft and empty, no discharge MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Assessment: 1. Heart murmur! 2. URI Prognosis: Fair-good Plan: 1. Move to isolation, start doxycycline 0.6 ml PO SID x10 days 2. Recommend cardiology consultation 1088

He lived with two children ages 17 and 2. He was relaxed and affectionate with them. He plays gentle with both adults and children. He has never been around other cats. He lives with a small dog and is scared of it. He will run away when the dog gets too close. Quinn is a friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow cat.
