Oral Exam: Severe calculus, oligodontia, recession, root exposure, furcation exposure, oral pain,
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: No spay scar, suspect intact, no MGTS or vuvlar dc
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, mild generalized muscle atrophy, pustules/erythema/hypotrichosis on chin
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: NP

- Set up for treatment for SQ LRS
- Hand soft foods only sign due to oral disease
- Talk to new hope about placement
- Sign up for simbadol for mouth
- Clean chin, consider convenia if does not respond topically
Prognosis: Fair
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to need to get BW, consider set up dental at same time
Owner Profile::
Basic information
Puddles is a 16 year old spayed calico colored DSH with no known medical conditions. Puddles was surrender to ACC along with a hosue mate Smokey because of the owners health and moving.
Socialization and behavior
Puddles has not lived with children and behavior is not known for interacting with them.. Puddles has lived with other cats and is affectionate and playful with them. Puddles played gently with the other cat. Puddles has also lived with dogs and is respectful around them.. Around strangers Puddles friendly and outgoing . When playing with her owner Puddles played gently. Puddles does not have a scratch or bite history. Puddles was only given a bathe once and was afraid but allowed the owner to bathe her. Previous owner did not attempt to trim her nails. Puddles enjoys being brushed. Puddles isn’t bothered by being picked up and held but will jump out of your arms after a few minutes.
For the new family to know
Puddles was described as mellow and quiet with a medium activity level when home with Puddles she liked to be in the same room as people. Puddles enjoyed playing with tinfoil balls. Puddles is litter box trained and used a covered litter box with Fresh step clumping litter. Puddles ate fancy feast wet food and friskies dry food. Puddles did not have a scratching post at home and liked to scratch on the leather couch.
Behavior during intake
Puddles was quiet during intake. Puddles allowed to be scanned and collared but was a little shy. Puddles allowed all handling.
