10/26/16 12:23 Basic Information Punchee is an approximate 1 year old male domestic short hair who was surrendered as a stray. Finder feeds cays that live around her building. She was told by her landlord that she can no longer feed cats so she captured and surrendered the cat. Finder never handled this cat she simply fed him and others. Behavior during Intake Punchee seemed tense. His pupils were dilated. I did not handle this cat at all. He was brought in inside a trap.

10/29/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Puchee looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Puchee remains in place, alert with eyes dilated. Reaction to touch: Puchee tightly stiffens up and slowly retreats away from the assessor’s hand, but when touched she flinches and shows no interest while she attempts to escape contact. Placement determination: Experience / no child Puchee tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
