He enjoys playing with string, catnip toys, and laser pointers. He has been kept only indoors and sleeps in his cat bed with his littermates’ PRETTY BOY is 12, and has some follow up vet care needed for his ears-but this shouldn’t deter you from offering to foster this 12 year old boy with a heart of gold who needs someone to love him and who has so much love to give. He was with her owner for about 12 years. PrettyBoy’s ears are folded due to ear mites. Socialization: PrettyBoy has lived with four adults and a two year old child. Around children he is relaxed and affectionate, he engages in gentle play. Around strangers he is friendly and outgoing he engages in gentle play with adults. He lived with his three littermates and is described as relaxed and affectionate towards the other cats in the home. He lived with a pitbull in the home and is described as tolerant. Behavior: Owner stated PrettyBoy with scratch at furniture, mainly the sofa. He was not bathed by owner and enjoyed being brushed. He likes to be held and is not bothered when he is placed in a carrier. For a new family to know: PrettyBoy’s activity level is described as medium. When home PrettyBoy likes to follow his owner around the home. He enjoys playing with string, catnip toys, and laser pointers. He has been kept only indoors and sleeps in his cat bed with his littermates. He is litterbox trained and used a hooded litterbox and Freshstep litter. He eats dry food Friskies brand and is free fed. Upon intake PrettyBoy was calm and had a loose body, she allowed all handling. Counselor was able to collar, scan(negative) and photograph.

As per previous owner, PrettyBoy has lived with four adults and a two year old child. Around children he is relaxed and affectionate, he engages in gentle play. Around strangers he is friendly and outgoing he engages in gentle play with adults. He lived with his three littermates and is described as relaxed and affectionate towards the other cats in the home. He lived with a large dog in the home and is described as tolerant. Reaction to assessor: Pretty Boy does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Pretty Boy does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Pretty Boy remains motionless Reaction to touch: Pretty Boy seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Pretty Boy is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Pretty Boy was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
