Hello, my name is Precious. My animal id is #14922. I am a desexed female white cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 14 years old. – P
I came into the shelter as a stray on 29-Nov-2017.
Precious is at risk for medical reasons. Precious is a geriatric lady who is FIV+. Precious is partially declawed (front) and she is also a little overweight, requiring a calorie controlled diet. Behaviorally, we have no concerns about Precious, and she has been assessed as being suitable for a beginner cat home.

Behavior Condition: 1. Green
Upon intake, Precious allowed to be petted on the head while in her carrier. She then began meowing and would hiss if I continued touching her. Precious came out of the carrier on her own but when I tried to touch her or stop her from fleeing should would hiss and growl and she would start thumping her tail. Precious had to be scruffed to be placed in her kennel as any further handling seemed to make her more upset.
