History : surrendered. reported to be pregnant and urinating outside litter box for 3 months. O also report to have diarrhea and an episode of vomiting.
Subjective / Observed Behavior – QAR, allowed PE but growled during auscultation and hissed and tried to flee after rabies vaccine.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – none

EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: dc 2/5; pd 1/5
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful; full bladder palpated. palpable mass along caudal abdomen, suspect early fetus.
U/G: intact female. suspect pregnant
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: normal on visual exam.
Assessment
pregnancy
reported vomit and diarrhea.
Prognosis:
good.
Plan:
monitor for diarrhea or vomiting.
Fortiflora, Hill’s ID diet x7 days.
recheck in 3 days. if normal, ok for OVH.
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to possible vomit / diarrhea.
