EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Poe remains tense body, hiding in the cat den during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Stripes stiffens up in place, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: During the touch, he began to lean away from the assessor’s hand while tightly curling up in place. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Poe may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home.
