POCAHONTAS – A1065646
Safe - 2-27-2016 Manhattan
SAFE 2/27/16 A volunteer writes : Pocahontas is a wee bit timid and it takes a while to earn her trust but once she emerges from the safety of her sleeping nook, snuggle school is officially in session! It’s all purrs and squinty eyes as she ducks her head for petting and lifts her chin for scratching and she just seems sooo happy to have made a new friend. Pocahontas arrived at the Care Center with her tiny kitten sister, Ducky (A1065645) after their owner fell ill and I’m sure she’d love to find a new home with Ducky or another kitty companion as quiet and gentle as she is. Her Native American namesake had a ‘secret name’ used only by her family and if I were to choose one for our little Pocahontas to carry it would surely translate to ‘tender loving one.’ Come meet this sweet, shy Princess at our Manhattan Care Center and get ready to fall in love…
